Missouri Parents as Teachers Association

Empowering Missouri’s Families.

"The question is not whether we can afford to invest in every child; it is whether we can afford not to." -Marian Wright Edelman

The Missouri Parents as Teachers Association (MOPATA) is a non-profit organization of parent educators, program supervisors, parents, grandparents, caregivers, community leaders, influential stakeholders, and PAT champions that are committed to speak as one voice in support of fully funded, robust, high quality, Parents as Teachers services statewide.

The purpose of MOPATA is to provide skill-building, peer learning, networking and advocacy so that all Missouri families will have access to high-quality parenting support through Parents as Teachers (PAT) programs.

When you join the Missouri Parents As Teachers Association (MOPATA), you have the opportunity to create change. The non-profit organization encourages all people who are interested in supporting strong families to join. Along with advocating for Missouri’s Youth, your membership will also open the door for the following opportunities:

  • Networking

  • Tool kits with resources

  • Opportunities to collectively affect change

  • Action opportunities

  • Learning opportunities specifically for seasoned parent educators

  • Information on state and federal legislation that affects programs, families and children in Missouri

  • Early registration for learning opportunities and retreats

Why join MOPATA?
